We help adults upgrade their basic skills.
This is offered in a one-to-one tutoring arrangement or in a small workshop
format. The focus is on learning outcomes that meet the learners’ needs.
Workplace skills that increase job opportunities are a high priority; further
training and education, and, skills towards greater independence are also recognized
goals.

All LSSM programs include a student/tutor assessment, customized training plans (goal setting and demonstrations), and student/tutor/program evaluations.
LSSM also hosts Family Literacy events.
